Please read these terms and conditions of sale carefully. They govern your purchase and contain very important information about your rights and obligations. These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Last update 11 November 2021.
Acceptance of terms
You (“You”, “Customer”) may place order with Vélosophy Cycles AB (“Vélosophy”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”), org. no 556994-0843, with address Renstiernas gata 21, 116 31 Stockholm, Sweden, via our website velosophy.cc. By placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions of sale. Any term or condition in any order or other correspondence that purports to add to, or is in any way inconsistent with, these terms shall be inapplicable and of no force and effect whatsoever.
Changes to the terms
We may revise these terms at any time and with no prior notice. Every time you order from this site, please check these terms and condition to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.

Product information
Our aim is to always state the correct information on the site. However, inaccuracies my occur. We reserve the right to correct such errors and images on the site due to faults.
Any image details on the site should be considered as illustrations only, thus not as a specification of the exact appearance of our products, their functions, origins or as warranty
All content is owned by us, or when applicable, our licensors. The information is protected by intellectual property and marketing legislation laws. This means you may not copy or use our trademarks, trade names, images and graphics, layout and information on products, services and other without our written consent.
Agreement and order
By placing an order on this site you automatically agree to these Terms. To make a purchase it is necessary that you have the right to enter into agreements according to applicable mandatory laws in your country of residence.
In addition to what is stated above, we may refuse an order if you have provided inaccurate information to us during the checkout process, when fraud is suspected or if the order can not be completed because the product is out of stock.
When you place an order on this site, we will send you an order confirmation. When you receive the order confirmation the agreement between us has been concluded.
Prices and statement
The prices, as stated at the time of the order, apply to the purchase, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise, or if circumstances clearly dictates otherwise. All prices are displayed in EUR, including VAT and payment fees.
If the price of a product, was presented incorrectly on the site and you realised, or should have realised that the product was shown with an incorrect price, the price will not apply to the purchase. Should this happen you will be informed.
All prices stated on the site are subject to change, but changes will not affect any confirmed order.
Payment
All orders must be paid in full prior to shipment. Payment information is submitted by customer upon the placement of any order and fulfilment and shipping of the order is subject to verification of payment information and availability of funds. Customer agrees to pay all fees and other charges incurred in connection with a purchase.
If you choose to pay by invoice, you enter into an agreement with Klarna, and the right to receive payment and all thereby associated rights are assigned to Klarna. Payment may therefor only be mad through Klarna, and Klarna’s terms and conditions will apply in addition to these Terms.
Shipping and delivery
We offer free shipping on our standard deliveries within the European Union. This means we will not charge you for shipping or delivery costs except when you choose to a destination outside the European Union or choose a delivery method that is not our standard.
We deliver to a majority of countries. For deliveries outside the European Union please contact hello@velosophy.cc prior to your purchase. We do not deliver to any address in a country or region in which there is a war, conflict, or instability of any kind, or to places to which it is illegal for us to deliver to (for example when there is a trade embargo).
Ownership of, and responsibility, for the Product shall pass to you upon delivery. Any timeframe provided by Vélosophy Cycles is a good faith estimate of the expected delivery date. Please note that the time for delivery may vary depending on where you live, the choosen delivery method and busy points during peak season.
Cancellation rights
You have the right to cancel an order from the day the order has been placed until the end of 30 days starting from the day after you receive the product. To cancel an order please contact hello@velosophy.cc before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
When you receive the product you can open the package and review the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and function. If a product is not eligible to be returned due to health and hygiene reason, you will not be able to withdraw from the purchase if you have removed the tags from the product.
You must return the package within 30 days of the date that you cancelled the purchase. Make sure to pack the product carefully in the original box since you are responsible for the condition of the product from the time of receipt to the time we receive it back. Inadequate packaging may jeopardies our ability to receive the package as a return.
We will fully reimburse you for any product that you decide to withdraw from the purchase. However, we reserve the right to deduct a sum by which the value of the product has been reduced if you have used the product more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function.
We will reimburse you as soon as possible and once we have processed your return. Reimbursement will be done using the same payment method as you choose during the checkout process.
Warranty
Like any bicycle a Vélosophy will require regular service to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride through its lifetime. Whenever possible we recommend taking your Vélosophy to a professional bike shop for service. Please be sure to review the owner’s manual for detailed safety and service instructions. Normal wear and tear, improper assembly or installations of parts and accessories is not covered by this warranty.
This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of a defect frame or defective parts and is the sole remedy of the warranty.
Damages due to accidents, misuse, abuse or neglect does not apply to this warranty.
Claims under this warranty must be made directly to Vélosophy Cycles AB. Proof of purchase is required.
All Vélosophy bicycles: original frame and components carry the following warranty:
Frame: 2 years from date of delivery
Components (excluding tires, tubes, brake pads, cables & housing, and grips): 2 years from date of delivery
Electronics: 1 years
Liability
In no event, shall Vélosophy be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any nature (even if the occurrence of such damage was foreseeable, known or could have been known by Vélosophy), capable of arising in connection with its products, their use, sales or this site.
Any claims by you for damages are excluded, other than those arising from personal injury as well as liability for damages related to unlawful intent or to gross negligence. The above restrictions also apply to our legal representatives, our employees, agents or subcontractors, if claims are asserted directly against them.
Without limiting the scope of these Terms, no claim of any kind, whether as to products delivered or non-delivery of products, or otherwise, shall be greater in amount than the purchase price of the products in respect of which damages are claimed.
Reservation
We reserve the right to refuse to sell products to anyone for any reason, in its sole discretion.
Force Majeure
We will make every reasonable effort to fulfil our obligations. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances include strikes, wars, natural catastrophes or any others that make impracticable the manufacturing, transportation or delivery of Products.
In the event of delay, we will perform our obligations as soon as reasonably possible, and it reserves the right to allocate any remaining product supply among customers in a fair and reasonable manner.
Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden without giving effect to its rules on conflict of laws and regardless of the place of its physical execution or performance.
Any and all disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be submitted exclusively to the ordinary courts at the registered office of Vélosophy in Stockholm, Sweden without restricting any right of appeal.
Severability
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
